Old olive trees with their mature, gnarly trunks have become more and more popular in the landscape.  While most prefer the non fruiting varieties, the non fruiting olives are not available in mature sizes with gnarly trunks.  While we do carry the fruitless varieties up to a 60-inch box size, you get much more "bang for the buck" using the field grown varieties.

The field grown fruiting olive tree varieties are available up to 100 years of age and can be kept fruitless with a quick annual spray. The spraying is performed during the spring when the olive tree first sets its bloom.  The spray must come in contact with the bloom causing it to drop therefore preventing the development of fruit.
